Sim & Rom
I have had a long history with Sim and Rom. To me they're my most personal and meeningful characters. thats why if there is any time a cartoon series of my own would come up, these would be the guys I would base on. I have even wrote rough draft scripts to their cartoon and have only gotten to episode 3 sofar (sadly) and still planning to write 17 more at this point. Now who the hell knows if this series will get anywhere, but i'm prepairing just in case.
Characters:
Sim
He used to be an average man that was happy until he found a puppy on his door step. This dog would end up changing his lfe forever. He would gain constant stress and became easily irritated. this really makes Sims character very humorous because of his stress along with anger and use of sarcassm . I along with many people can relate to Sim because he's pretty much the symbol of stress and depression and that he represents the struggle of every day.
Rom
Rom (pronounced Rome as in rome Italy) is the second main character of this series. a very differnt dog for he can talk like a human and walk upright. this discovery easily startled Sim in the beginning when he found him as a puppy. he is obnoctious and hyperactive, likes to party and drinks. his character greatly sybolizes annoyance and frustration. Its funny that many people mispronounce his name as Rom as in CD-Rom and you may be asking why I never change the name so its easier to pronounce? well I leave it their because I could use it as a joke in the series, or see if anybody could figure out the right way to say it. I sometimes put a squiggle on top of the O to give a clue that its pronounced differently.
other occuring characters
Dave:One of Sim & Rom's neighbours and closest friends; often gets caught up in issues with other characters
Sylvia: Dave's hot girlfriend Dave and Rom oftain have arguements and issues over
The Sailsman: A door-to-door sailsman that seems to be everywhere (even at stores) constantly tries to sell Sim, Rom, or others crappy/worthless merchandises just so he can have the "mula"
Mikey & Conan: 2 other re-occuring neighbours that are good friends with dave

Creation & early years:
Believe it or not Sim & Rom started way back in my primary years. its hard really to say when I created them, most likely around 2003- 2004, but I do know that it's prime influence was sunday morning newspaper comics. Inspired I wanted to creat my own comic. randomly I drew a man and a dog and named them. I would end up making many comic strips of these guy. most of them are crudely drawn, and very flat humor. I would keep making these strips for years but work continuation declined around 2007, eventually ending the original series.
Re-developement and new concept:
By 2009 I started getting new ideas of what to do with S&R. By watching Matt Groening cartoons I drew thought of re-designing their appearance. I then decided to start writing some scripts on a cartoon series (which I still am working on). In this series situations are more of adult humor, and their additudes are slightly different (meening Sim is more of an ass than before, and Rom is more active, irritating, and annoying). Since then, I had made several gag posters on the series. I was also planning on making a new comic strip series entitled simply "Sim & Rom Comics" but has failed to be coninued with only one gag strip created.
